Community Bank Samford

Built by the community, for the community

Amount Given Back to the Local Community Since 2002

Banking Done Differently

We are a community bank – built by the community for our local community. We deliver the full range of traditional banking services, but unlike traditional banks, up to 80% of all profits are returned to our local community.

How does community banking work?

The Pine Rivers Community Finance Ltd (PRCF) owns and operates the Community Bank Samford (part of Bendigo Bank).

Our Samford Community Bank offers the full range of Bendigo Bank products and services.

Our banking team are local, caring and committed to our local community and the growth of local businesses.

Community banking is based on a ‘profit-with-purpose’ model, which means a portion of our profits are returned directly to the community that has generated them.

We do this by providing grants, sponsorships, donations and scholarships to schools, community groups, sporting clubs and not for profits for all those projects that make living and working in our community the best place to be.

From empowering people with a disability to realising a business dream, to helping save young drivers’ lives,  Community Bank Samford, part of Bendigo Bank, makes a big impact.
