We are incredibly proud to announce that Pine Rivers Community Finance Ltd (PRCF) has been named a finalist in the 2025 Queensland Philanthropy Awards Innovation Category, presented by Queensland Gives.
Our nomination, submitted in the SME category, was elevated by the judges to the prestigious Innovation category, proudly sponsored by QUT. This recognition is a testament to the impact and ingenuity of our Community Grants Program as it supports and uplifts our community through innovative, locally driven solutions and programs.
The Queensland Philanthropy Awards honour outstanding individuals and organisations across Queensland who demonstrate inspiring leadership and commitment to philanthropy. Being selected as a finalist highlights our dedication to reshaping what’s possible through community banking.
We will join fellow finalists at the Queensland Philanthropy Week Launch Event on Monday, 2 June at Parliament House, hosted by the Speaker of the House, the Honourable Patrick Weir MP. This special event will feature inspiring stories from across Queensland’s philanthropic landscape and celebrate the recipients of the Queensland Gives General Fund grants and Photo Challenge winners.
Then, on Friday, 6 June, we’ll attend the 15th Annual Queensland Philanthropy Awards Gala Lunch at Brisbane City Hall, hosted by Olympian Nat Cook OAM and Paralympian Curtis McGrath OAM. The lunch will also feature a fireside chat with Brisbane’s own best-selling author Trent Dalton.
